Editorial policy
This page explains who writes the guides on YourHumanDesign, how AI is used, what we check, and how to tell us when we get something wrong. Articles on this site are signed YourHumanDesign Editorial. That byline means the text was drafted with AI and reviewed against the standard below. It is not one person's writing, so we don't put one person's name on it.
Who we are
YourHumanDesign is an online Human Design guide and reading service. You can reach us at support@yourhumandesign.me.
How we use AI
AI drafts most of our text. We use it to outline an article from questions people actually ask, draft the explanatory sections, suggest internal links, and draft image alt text and meta descriptions.
There are things we don't let it do. AI output on this site must never:
- invent numbers, dates, quotes, sources, studies or credentials
- claim "we tested" or "we analysed" something unless a person actually did
- write first-person stories under the Editorial byline
- assign a chart to a real person without a published, rated birth time we can cite
- make claims about health, therapy, food and weight, child development or income
Cover illustrations on our articles are AI-generated. Chart diagrams we draw ourselves are labelled as ours.
What we check
Before an article is published or updated, it is checked against this standard: the Human Design mechanics (Type, Authority, Profile, centers, channels and gates) are fact-checked against the sources below, and an automated check blocks known factual errors and health wording from going live and flags prices that haven't been re-checked recently.
When an article includes a number from our own chart calculations, it says how the number was produced, how many charts it covers and when it was run. Simulated results are labelled as simulated. We don't reuse other sites' chart graphics.
The date on each guide is the date it was first published. Typo fixes don't change it.
Sources
For Human Design mechanics we rely on the system's primary material: Ra Uru Hu's own texts and the Jovian Archive. As we revise each guide we're adding links to the sources behind its claims. For the birth data of public figures we use Astro-Databank and only use times it rates AA or A. Where sources disagree, or a figure varies by source, we say so instead of picking one quietly.
How a reading is made
Our paid readings are produced by a pipeline, and you should know what's in it:
- Chart calculation. Your birth date, time and place are sent to a third-party Human Design chart service, which calculates your chart from astronomical data.
- AI-written interpretation. An AI model writes the interpretation from that calculated chart, following our writing and safety guidelines.
- Template and automated checks. The text is placed into our report template, and automated checks confirm that your chart calculated and the report generated completely before it's emailed to you.
That's why a reading can go deep on your specific chart, and it's also its limit: it can't answer a follow-up question the way a live session with a practitioner can.
Interpretation, not advice
Human Design is a framework for self-reflection. Our articles and readings are interpretation. They are not medical, psychological or mental-health advice, and they don't diagnose or treat anything. If you're struggling, please talk to a doctor or a mental-health professional.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email support@yourhumandesign.me with the page link and what's wrong. We check every report and fix confirmed errors in the article.
